As a Freelance Curriculum Design & Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in creating engaging and effective learning experiences. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality training programs tailored to specific client needs. Your expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, and content development will be essential in creating impactful learning solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze RFPs and Tenders: Carefully review client requests to identify specific training needs.
- Create Innovative Training Solutions: Design comprehensive training programs tailored to client requirements, including training academies, schools, competency-based trainings, and value-based programs.
- Develop Engaging Training Materials: Craft well-structured and visually appealing training materials, such as presentations, handouts, activities, assessments, and more.
- Optimize Learning Delivery: Determine the most effective instructional methods (e.g., role-playing, simulations, group discussions, videos, lectures) to maximize learning outcomes.
- Evaluate Training Effectiveness: Conduct thorough evaluations using the Kirkpatrick model to measure the impact of training programs.
Required Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field
- Proven experience in curriculum design and development
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design theories
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in using design tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Experience in developing training programs in various formats (in-person, online, blended)
