JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and trend-aware Video Editor to join our marketing team in Jordan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and editing engaging video content for social media, marketing campaigns, training materials, events, and company branding purposes.
This role requires a strong understanding of storytelling, social media content trends, and platform-specific editing styles. The candidate should be capable of transforming raw footage into compelling visual content that drives engagement and aligns with the company’s brand identity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Edit and optimize high-quality video content tailored for social media platforms, marketing campaigns, and internal projects.
  • Create engaging short-form and long-form videos for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other digital channels.
  • Develop videos that follow current social media trends, pacing styles, hooks, and audience engagement techniques.
  • Add motion graphics, transitions, subtitles, sound effects, music, animations, and visual effects when needed.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to brainstorm creative concepts, campaign ideas, and video storytelling approaches.
  • Organize and manage raw footage, project files, and video assets efficiently.
  • Ensure all videos are delivered on time while maintaining high creative and production standards.
  • Adapt video formats, dimensions, and styles based on platform requirements and campaign objectives.
  • Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, AI-powered editing tools, and social media best practices.
  • Assist in filming, behind-the-scenes coverage, interviews, and content production when required.

Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree in Media, Graphic Design, Multimedia, Film Production, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar editing software.
  • Good understanding of social media platforms, content trends, and audience engagement techniques.
  • Strong storytelling, creativity, and visual communication skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency across all video content.
  • Basic knowledge of motion graphics, animation, color correction, and sound editing is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience creating educational, corporate, or training-related content.
  • Familiarity with branding, digital marketing strategies, and campaign-based content creation.
  • Experience using AI-powered editing tools, automated captioning, or content enhancement tools.
  • Photography or videography skills are considered an advantage.
  • Understanding of lighting setups, audio recording basics, and filming techniques.
  • Experience covering events, workshops, or corporate activities is a plus.
